U.S. Government planned to launch "terrorist attacks" against America

Operation Northwoods

Operation Northwoods was a series of false flag proposals that originated within the United States government. This top secret government plan was approved by the Joint Chiefs of Staff in 1962, and outlined several terrorist operations that the Pentagon planned to launch AGAINST America, while blaming a foreign country. These acts of terrorism were to be blamed on Cuba in order to create public support for a war against that nation


Some scenarios included as follows:

- Hijacking American airliners than blowing them up and blaming it on a terrorist and Cuba.

- Blowing up U.S. ships and blaming it on a terrorist and Cuba.
 
- Create a phoney CIA made up terrorism attack. The United States government was planning to bomb cities in Florida and also bomb Washington DC and blame it on a terrorist and Cuba.

- Several other proposals were included within Operation Northwoods, including real or simulated actions against various U.S. military and civilian targets.
