Today I was browsing through the Federal Business Opportunities website and I found an alarming proposal that was posted by the Department of Energy that would allow radioactive metals to be recycled in consumer goods, including silverware. Their most recent update on the site was posted yesterday on Jun 11, 2013 at 7:05 pm. The contract for recycling radioactive waste was just awarded to Street Legal, Octagon and Duratek Services.
